TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF "Mamma Mia, I won a trip to Italy" CONTEST

Contest Overview:

Since no person residing in Italy, or abroad is allowed to organize raffles with exclusive sale of numbers, Margherita De Crescenzo has launched a contest combined with the sale of the Crash Course with which a trip to Rome and Florence could be won.

Only after purchasing the "Crash Course" does the participant have the opportunity to participate in the "Mamma Mia, I Won a Trip to Italy" Contest by choosing a number from the available numbers.

The right to participate is subject to acceptance of the “Mamma Mia, I Won a Trip to Italy” terms and conditions including the requirement to provide a current and valid email address.

Incorporating the above Contest Overview, said Terms and Conditions are as follows:

The contest winner will win a six (6) day trip (5 days in Rome and 1 day in Florence) that includes a round-trip flight in Economy Class, hotel accommodations (4 Stars) in Rome and Florence and includes breakfast and a tour guide. Lunch and dinner are not included.
The numbers available for choosing will be on a first come, first served basis.
The winning number will be determined as follows: the summation obtained by adding all six numbers drawn from the Powerball, so, as an example, if the six Powerball numbers drawn are: 32-11-6-54-3 +9, the total is 115 (32+11+6+54+3+9=115).
Therefore, the participant who is assigned the number 115 will be the winner of the contest.
The lowest number that can be assigned to a participant is 16 the highest 361 (numbers obtained by adding up the numbers from the Powerball).
The Powerball drawing that will be the basis for determining the winner pursuant to the formula stated above will be the Powerball drawing that takes place on the first Wednesday after all available tickets are sold out or the contest is closed.
The start of the contest will be announced in the following Facebook groups: "Mamma Mia" and "I'm Italian American", on the official Facebook and Instagram profile Learn & Shop Italian With Me, and on Margherita De Crescenzo's personal profile.
The winning number will be published on the same sites where the contest was published, namely in the "Mamma Mia" and "I'm Italian American", on the official Facebook and Instagram profile Learn & Shop Italian With Me, and on Margherita De Crescenzo's personal profile.
The winner must notify Margherita De Crescenzo of acceptance of the prize, within (10) (ten) days of the published announcement of the winning number on the above mentioned sites.
The winner must send his/her acceptance of the contest award within the above stated period by email to: info@learnandshopitalianwithme.it
He also has to communicate what is required in term n° 9 and the preferred departure airport in term n° 6.
The failure to comply with the stated terms of acceptance as provided within the stated period of time for acceptance will constitute a rejection of acceptance of the contest award and the notified winner will be deemed to have declined the contest award.
The winner must travel to Rome as part of this contest within three (3) months of notice of his/her contest award, as provided above.
T11. The winner may depart and return from the same airport chosen from the list provided below.
Departure from and return to other airports and any expenses to reach any of the airports listed here are at the expense of the winner.

- Miami, International Airport
- Los Angeles, LAX International Airport

The agency that will make the flight arrangements and secure the flight tickets will be located in Italy and will be chosen by Margherita De Crescenzo.
Winner/participant agrees to cooperate fully with Margherita De Crescenzo to make necessary arrangements to secure transportation to and from Italy and hotel accommodations.
The winner agrees to email his or her valid documents in order to make travel arrangements, to purchase tickets and to make hotel reservations.
Unless specifically communicated by email to Margherita De Crescenzo declining her free service as a tour guide, she will accompany the winner/participant on the six (6) day tour as a guide.
In case the winner is unable to travel he/she may transfer this right to a relative or friend. This choice must be communicated immediately by email. The person chosen by the winner in turn is obligated to accept these terms and conditions.
If the winner is unwilling to accept the contest award, then that person will be entitled to a return of the amount of the purchase of the Crash Course, fifty-five (55) dollars. Said return of this purchase amount is contingent upon the return of the Crash Couse material at their expense.
The winner/participant agrees to the publication of his or her identity/image and related photos of the trip (which Margherita De Crescenzo will take), on the sites in which the contest has been published, for the purpose of making this contest transparent and for social marketing purposes. The winner/participant must agree to this term and condition to participate in this contest.
Winner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Margherita De Crescenzo for any and all damages of any nature and kind, legal or equitable, including but not limited to incidental and consequential damages, incurred or suffered as a result of any cause of action arising out of circumstances beyond her control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, pandemics preventing or restricting travel, any governmental actions preventing or restricting travel, inability of the winner/participant to obtain required permits or documents, including, but not limited to, a valid Passport; inability of winner/participant to travel from and to the winner/participant’s residence to the listed departure airports from the United States to Italy; inability to comply with restrictions and requirements for travel to Italy imposed by the United States or Italy; negligence, breach of contract or any express or implied warranty.
Margherita De Crescenzo is not liable for any negligence or any other legal cause of action arising out of or relating to any transportation to or from Rome or any transportation within Italy or for any cause of action relating to the hotels or places where the winner is staying or any site or place visited in Italy.
All decisions and resolutions regarding issues that may arise within this contest and that are not covered by the Terms and Conditions will be at the sole discretion of Margherita De Crescenzo and are final.
The winnings in this contest shall in no way cover or be converted to cash.
The winner/participant shall be responsible for any taxes or fees incurred or due for the value of this contest award in the United States or anywhere in the world.
It is recommended that the winner purchase accident and/or life insurance to cover this trip from their home/residence to Italy and for the duration of their stay.
The winner/participant declares that he/she is at least 18 years of age.
It is agreed that Italy will be the only appropriate forum/institution for any legal action taken by an aggrieved party. Any legal action taken by an injured/aggrieved party will be governed by the laws of Italy.

FACEBOOK IS NOT A SPONSOR OF THIS CONTEST AND, IN NO WAY, IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS CONTENT OR FOR ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE OFFERING OF THIS CONTEST.
